We understand how developing rust can be a nightmare for industrial facilities. Rust can significantly weaken structures and can present unexpected malfunctions or breakdowns.

Our team of accredited industrial cleaners and painters effectively and efficiently remove rust from infrastructures, walls, pipework, corrugated roofing, machinery and other surfaces across industrial facilities. Quality corrosion resistant painting can then protect your surfaces for years to come and can significantly boost the visual appeal of your assets.

Surface preparation is one of the most important steps in an industrial painting project. While shotblasting has been a traditional method in the past for removing old paint, scale and rust, we believe that it presents several safety concerns compared to other alternatives.

We use needle guns (also known as needle scalers) for our projects as they effectively remove paint and loose rust from metal surfaces prior to painting. While they may not take the surface back to bear metal, if you use the correct primers and rust-inhibiting paints, then you don’t need to.

The industrial environments in which we work also mean that shotblasting can present significant hazards, for instance when working at height. You can read more about our industrial painting preparation in our “safer alternatives to shotblasting” blog.

If your project threatens to cause disruption or obstacles on site, we always implement every possible measure to reduce or avoid interruptions to your day-to-day tasks. This includes areas of high footfall traffic or working out of production hours.

Our approach encompasses both rust removal and the application of quality corrosion-resistant coatings. We address existing issues and fortify surfaces against future corrosion.

No one likes the look of degraded, rust covered buildings. It doesn’t inspire confidence or professionalism for visitors or potential customers.

Rust-free and well-coated assets present a more professional and visually appealing image, reflecting positively on your company’s brand and reputation.

Rust removal and corrosion resistant painting protects walls, buildings, pipework, machinery and more from the deteriorating effects of rust. Rust can significantly weaken the structural strength and integrity of metal, so reactive and proactive measures are essential.
